Chad Harrison International

Chad Harrison International are working with an international roofing and slate producer in pursuit of a high calibre AREA SALES MANAGER. Reporting to the UK Country Manager you will have a designated territory and work collaboratively with colleagues covering other areas of the UK, Specification Sales Managers and senior management to work closely with existing clients and grow further market share in this competitive market.

Key responsibilities:

  • Actively managing a portfolio of clients whilst identifying and developing new opportunities
  • Work with B2B and B2C customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Manage sales volumes, communicate with production facilities and ensure that projects are viable
  • Negotiate with customers
  • Managing and co-ordinating projects from initial sale to installation
  • Adapting quotes to customer requirements
  • Staying ahead of the market, trends and events in the industry
  • Maintain and grow a network of architects, project managers, builders, merchants, developers, investors and designers
  • Keep accurate data, and make relevant reports as required

The successful candidate will have:

  • 5+ years in a sales role within a building products or building materials environment, preferably roofing/slate/tile industries
  • Full driving license
  • Available and motivated to be on the road to constantly to cover your territory
  • A collaborative attitude to work together to meet team sales targets as well as individual
  • Strong communication skills, adapting to reflect the customer
