Chad Harrison International

A major food packaging company are seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Manager for their new warehouse situated in South Wales to be responsible for developing and implementing best practice logistics vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, coach and develop a high performing team that meets agreed objectives
  • Plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers
  • Deliver solutions to logistic problems while maintaining high levels of safety, quality and service within budgetary requirements
  • Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times and transport costs
  • Negotiate rates and contract with transportation and logistics providers

You will have:

  • Proven experience of managing teams within a fast-paced Warehouse & Logistics environment
  • Food Safety & Hygiene/Quality/HACCP/H&S Qualifications
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to define problems and formulate solutions
  • Previous leadership/coaching qualifications and experience
  • Fluency in English
