A multi-national and respected lithium mining company is seeking a new Vice President of Global Operations to be based in North America. This role will have responsibility to oversee the company’s hard rock and brine extraction sites on a global scale.



  • Manage all extraction site operations globally to ensure the Company’s short and long-term production targets and sustainability standards are met
  • Liaise with mine and plant operations to ensure the daily activities at each department are consistent with long term objectives
  • Formulate annual operating and capital budgets to optimise expenditure
  • Oversight of all new development projects, including regulatory, environment, safety and operational compliance. Influence on the design, planning and budgeting of mine investment projects globally
  • Lead the transition of mine developments from execution to operations and shut-down
  • Participation in key business decision making and responsibility for the operational strategy and meeting corporate goals


You will have:

  • A mining engineering or geology degree or comparable
  • 20 years’ experience in large mine development projects and transitional operations start-up processes
  • Several years of professional experience leading, managing and designing the operations of both lithium hard rock and lithium brine extraction processes
  • Proven knowledge and experience of geological and hydrogeological resources
  • Experience of managing cross functional teams and operating at a senior level
  • Proven leadership abilities and track record of building strong internal and external relationships at all levels
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
