Chad Harrison International is working with a major international group specialized in the distribution of natural stone. This company is seeking a Sales Director for France, responsible for 11 profit centers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Encouraging the sales force through permanent and rigorous management (customer visit and promotion of products), provide sales support to sensitive customers.
  • Annually adjusting the objectives of the sales representatives with the General Management.
  • Relay information between the top management and the field sales teams (information, strategy, commercial policy)
  • Accompanying, training and advancing sales people in terms of skills and objectives to achieve, ensure a field presence and customer visits (extensive travel within France).
  • Pilot control the activity of the commercial (week, month, year) and analyse the statistics and results.
  • Work closely with the heads of agencies to ensure the proper coordination between the commercial action and the customer relationship, ensure a weekly point with the agencies, and management.
  • Manage a portfolio of “Key Account” customers online
  • Analyse and manage prices and margins.
  • Gather competitive intelligence and go back to the Marketing + D.G. service, prices, products and services offered by the competition
  • Participate in monthly commercial meetings and make a precise and detailed report of the commercial activity of the sector, demonstrating real analytical skills.
  • Use and ensure the relevant use by field sales of the tools made available by the company, including visit report, CRM.

You will:

  • Have to prove successful experience in a similar position within Building Materials and/or building merchants, it is above all your commercial temperament and your managerial skills that will make the difference.
  • Show your responsiveness, your initiative and your ability to unify around a common project are your essential qualities to succeed in this position. Knowledge of our industry is particularly appreciated.
  • Be fluent French and a high level of Spanish language.
  • Located in France or able to relocate to France without additional assistance.
